Description

ATAGO Salinity Refractometer

Salinity is read either optically, by how much the dissolved salt bends light, or electrically by conductivity. Both give a percentage you can hold a recipe or a process to.

Available Sizes

  • 0.0–28.0 %, 0.2 increments (MASTER-S28M)
  • 0–100‰ (SG1.000–1.070), 1 (SG 0.001) increments (MASTER-S/MillM)

Key Features

  • Optical models need no power and no calibration beyond a zero on distilled water
  • Digital models read hot liquid directly and hold the number on screen
  • Reading is temperature-sensitive — ATC models correct for it

About ATAGO

ATAGO of Tokyo has made refractometers since 1940 and is the name the food, beverage, metalworking and automotive trades reach for when a concentration has to be read from a drop of sample.
