Description
Armatures are tool-specific and voltage-specific; match the part number to the exact tool model.
KEYANG Armature
The armature is the rotating copper-wound core of a brushed electric motor, the part that spins when current passes through it. It is replaced in grinders, drills and hammers when the windings burn out or the commutator wears, a repair that is cheaper than a new tool.
Key Features
- Commutator wear or burnt windings are the usual reasons to replace it
- Replace the carbon brushes at the same time
- Fit with new bearings if the old ones are noisy or rough
