Description
Topcon Automatic Level 24–32×
An automatic level self-levels its line of sight with a compensator, so once the tripod is roughly level the instrument does the rest. It is the standard way a site transfers a height over distance.
Available Sizes
- ±2.0 mm per 1 km double run, 24× magnification (AT-B4A)
- ±0.7 mm per 1 km double run, 32× magnification (AT-B2)
- ±1.5 mm per 1 km double run, 28× magnification (AT-B3A)
Key Features
- Compensator holds the line of sight level without fine adjustment
- Accuracy is quoted as standard deviation over a 1 km double run — the lower the better
- Higher magnification reads the staff further away, which is what decides the setup count
- Supplied in a carrying case; a tripod and staff are bought separately
