SMATO Wire Thread Insert M3–M16 2.5D
A wire thread insert is a diamond-section stainless coil that lines a stripped or soft-metal hole with a fresh, hardened thread. It is the standard repair for aluminium, magnesium and cast iron castings, and is also fitted new where a joint will be assembled and dismantled repeatedly.
