Description

RSK Straightedge, H-Beam Type, JIS B

A straightedge is a precision-ground bar with a true flat edge, used to check flatness and straightness of surfaces and to guide marking. Toolmakers and inspectors use it with feeler gauges or light-gap checks.

Key Features

  • Check straightness by sliding it on the surface and looking for light gaps
  • Knife-edge types give a sharp line contact for fine inspection
  • Store flat or hung to avoid bending, and never use it as a pry bar
