OSG Spiral Point Tap, Bright
A spiral point (gun) tap for cutting internal threads in through holes on machining centers and tapping machines. The angled flute ejects chips forward, ahead of the tap.
Key Features
- Angled point pushes chips ahead of the tap, so use it in through holes.
- Not recommended for blind holes, where chips can jam at the bottom.
- Match thread size, pitch and tolerance class to your gauge.
