EHWA Dry Core Bit
A dry core bit is a diamond hole-cutting bit made to drill round holes in tile, stone and masonry without water. It is used with a hand drill or angle-grinder-type machine for sockets, pipes and vents.

- Hole size equals the outside diameter of the bit
- Use short bursts and withdraw the bit to clear dust and let it cool
- Wear a dust mask; dry drilling produces fine mineral dust
- Start at a slight angle on smooth surfaces to stop wandering
