Overview

A pilot kick 2-port solenoid valve combines direct solenoid force with pilot assistance, so it can open even when there is little or no pressure differential across the valve. This normally open CKD version stays open when unpowered. It suits low-pressure lines, gravity-fed tanks, cooling water and air systems where standard pilot valves would fail to operate reliably.
