The CKD YS Series Y-strainer is installed in liquid or gas lines to trap pipe scale, weld spatter and debris before they reach valves, pumps and instruments. Its Y-shaped body holds a removable screen that can be cleaned without dismantling the piping. It is common in water, coolant and utility lines.
