Overview
The FR-ASF is a surge voltage suppression filter from Mitsubishi Electric, installed between a 400V class inverter and its motor. Fast-switching inverter output can create voltage spikes at the motor terminals, especially with long cables, which stress motor insulation. The filter reduces these surges, protecting standard motors in fans, pumps and conveyors.
