SMC AMC310-03B — AMC series exhaust cleaner with 3/8" port. It silences valve exhaust and captures the oil mist that comes out with it, recovering more than 99.9% of the oil instead of spraying it into the work area.

Why fit one instead of a plain silencer
A standard silencer only deals with the noise. On a lubricated circuit the exhaust also carries oil mist, which settles on the machine, the floor and the product. An exhaust cleaner traps that oil in an element and drains it, so the working area stays clean and the air discharge meets housekeeping requirements. The 35 dB(A) reduction covers the noise side at the same time.
Typical use
Valve manifold exhausts on lubricated circuits, food and packaging lines where oil carry-over is unacceptable, and enclosed cells where operators work next to the exhaust point.
