What it does
Normally the exhaust air from a cylinder travels back down the tube to the valve before it reaches atmosphere, and that return path limits how fast the cylinder can move. A quick exhaust controller vents at the cylinder port instead, and the built-in orifice still lets the speed be set. Fitting one is usually cheaper than moving to a larger valve and bigger tube.
Choosing between ø8 and ø10
Both share the same R1/8 thread and body. The ø10 tube passes more air, which suits larger bores or longer tube runs where the ø8 connection would become the restriction. If the existing tubing is ø8, the ASV410F-01-08S is the direct fit.
