SMC CQ2A32-50DCMZ — CQ2 Z series compact cylinder, ø32 bore with 50 mm stroke, double acting single rod. Tapped at both ends with a male rod thread and rubber bumpers fitted at the stroke ends.

Why the rubber bumper version
A compact cylinder has no air cushion, so at speed the piston meets the end cover hard. Rubber bumpers absorb that impact, which cuts the knock heard at each stroke end and extends the life of the cylinder. On clamping and stopper work, where the cylinder hits its end every cycle, the bumper version is usually worth the small extra cost.
