Force and stroke
At ø63 the piston area gives roughly 1,870 N at 0.6 MPa. With 40 mm of stroke this covers work that needs both force and a little travel — pressing, lifting a fixture clear, or driving a gate that has to open wide enough to pass a part.
Rod end thread
This code has the standard female thread at the rod end. The M variants (for example CQ2B63-15DMZ) give a male thread instead, which accepts joints and clevises directly. Check which the existing installation uses before ordering — an adapter adds length the mounting may not have.
