Where the MB series fits
Between the compact CQ2 and the heavy-duty cylinders sits the MB — a full-length tie-rod cylinder for general machine work, where stroke matters more than saving depth. Rod end fittings and pivot brackets can be specified as part of the order code rather than bought separately, which removes a line from the purchase order and a part from the stores.
What changed in the Z generation
Reshaped covers cut up to 10% from the mass of the previous design, with no change to the mounting dimensions — so a Z cylinder drops into an installation built for the older series.
Auto switch versions
This code has no built-in magnet. The MDB-Z family carries one: MDB, MDBW (double rod), MDBK (non-rotating), MDBKW, MDBB and MDB□Q.
