Sizing within the SY family
SY3000, SY5000 and SY7000 share the same construction and control options but differ in flow. The 3000 body suits small bore cylinders and short tube runs; going one size up costs manifold width for flow that may not be needed. Where a mix is required, 3-port and 5-port valves of the same series sit on one manifold.
Why plug-in
On a non plug-in manifold each valve is wired individually, so replacing one means opening the loom and re-terminating. A plug-in valve connects through the base, so a station is unbolted and swapped in a minute.
