Body ported or base mounted
A body ported valve takes the tubing straight into the valve, which suits a single cylinder sitting on its own somewhere in the machine. A base mounted valve (SY5140) needs a subplate but shares supply and exhaust across a manifold, which is what you want once several valves sit together. Both use the same internals — the choice is about how the air is piped.
Why 0.1 W matters
With the power saving circuit the coil draws a tenth of what an ordinary valve takes, so a bank of valves can run from a small PLC output card and adds almost no heat to the cabinet.

Single cylinder control away from the main valve bank — clamps, stoppers and ejectors mounted out on the machine.
