Exhaust centre
With both solenoids off the spool centres and both cylinder ports vent to atmosphere. The cylinder goes slack, so the mechanism can be pushed by hand — which is what a setter needs during teaching and what a maintenance technician needs before working on a jig. It also means a vertical load will fall, so this centre type belongs on horizontal or restrained axes, not on a lift.
Exhaust centre or closed centre
FJG is exhaust centre (C.SC.); FHG is closed centre (C.CH.), which traps air on both sides and holds the piston in place. Same body, same price band, opposite behaviour when power is lost — confirm which the circuit needs before ordering.
Why the ISO interface matters
The mounting face, port positions and bolt pattern are fixed by the standard, so a size 1 valve from any manufacturer bolts onto the same subplate. The valve can be replaced without touching the piping.
