Ozone resistance
Ordinary NBR seals harden and crack under long exposure to low concentration ozone, which is generated by motors, UV lamps and some water treatment equipment. The HNBR main valve seal used here resists that attack, so the valve keeps sealing in environments where a standard valve would fail early.
Universal porting
Most 3-port valves are built as either normally closed or normally open and carry different part numbers. A universal port valve is piped to give whichever function is needed, and can work as a diverter feeding two lines alternately — one spare covers three roles.
Interchangeable with the previous generation
Mounting dimensions match the earlier VT307, so an existing installation takes the new valve without rework.
