Why fit a blanking plate
Manifolds are usually ordered with spare stations for future expansion. A blanking plate seals those stations against leakage while keeping the port, wiring position and station number intact, so a valve can be dropped in later without rebuilding the manifold. Leaving a station open loses air and lets dirt into the block.

Spare stations on new VQ4000 manifolds, and stations left empty after a valve is removed during a line change.

Order by the full code VVQ4000-10A-1. Blanking plates are series-specific — a VQ4000 plate will not seal a VQ1000, VQ2000 or VQ5000 manifold. Tell us your manifold model and we will confirm the matching plate.
