Choose the bar by both nut size and the vehicle torque specification. A bar for the wrong torque value gives the wrong result.
A torsion bar is a torque-limiting impact extension with a socket end that twists to absorb impact energy once it reaches its rated torque. It is used to fit wheel nuts with an impact wrench while limiting overtightening, then the final torque is checked by hand.
