Check the thread standard: metric (M), UNC/UNF and pipe threads are not interchangeable.
A tap set provides taps for cutting internal threads in drilled holes, used in machine shops, maintenance and fabrication. Each tap is turned with a tap handle after drilling the correct tap-drill hole.
